To help you get to know him better, we sat down with David for an interview. Here are five questions that will give you a glimpse into his professional journey, his philosophy on chiropractic care, and his personal interests:

1. What inspired you to pursue a career in chiropractic care, and what do you find most rewarding about it?

David: All my life I’ve been passionate about sports and physical health. A surfing injury in my youth introduced me to chiropractic care, and the incredible recovery I experienced inspired me to pursue this field. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing patients regain their strength and return to the activities they love and live their best lives.

2. How do you approach the transition from passive care to active care for your patients, and why do you believe it’s important?

David: My approach involves a comprehensive assessment to tailor a plan that fits each patient's specific needs. I believe transitioning to active care is crucial because it empowers patients to take control of their health, reduces dependency on passive treatments, and promotes long-term wellness and injury prevention.

3. What types of patients do you enjoy seeing most?

David: I have always found treating young athletes very rewarding. Through a combination of manual adjustments, posture correction, soft tissue therapy, and a personalised exercise program, chiropractic can help alleviate pain and enhance performance in our most vulnerable populations. Seeing kids back in the gym, pain-free and excelling, is incredibly fulfilling.

4. What advice would you give to young athletes looking to prevent injuries and maintain optimal performance?

David: Injury prevention is all about maintaining a balance between mobility and strength. I advise young athletes to incorporate regular stretching, strength training, and proper rest into their routines. It's also important to listen to your body and seek professional help at the first sign of discomfort to prevent minor issues from becoming major problems. That's why it's such a pleasure to work with young athletes - they get so much out of the adjustment!

5. Outside of your professional work, what hobbies or activities do you enjoy that help you stay active and healthy?

David: I love playing the guitar and enjoy participating in the local music scene. Having a creative outlet not only keeps me motivated but also clears my mind and reduces stress. Additionally, I love hiking and exploring the beautiful Bavarian countryside. These activities help me stay connected with nature and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
